The project focuses on permaculture, agriculture, and rural development, with activities centered around land management, agriculture, and permaculture principles.
Volunteers will engage in various tasks such as vegetable gardening, fruit and vegetable processing, caring for plants and trees, small-scale construction using wood and recycled materials, as well as arts and crafts projects.
Tasks will be organized in small groups, and volunteers will rotate through different activities based on their skills and abilities.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD, AND TRANSPORTATION
Vegetarian meals will be provided, and accommodation will consist of four glamping tents with mattresses.
The toilet facilities are composting, and there is an outdoor solar shower available.
Drinking water is sourced from public wells provided by the town of Antillo, while other water needs can be met from a nearby well.
Cooking facilities are available in a fully equipped warehouse, with options for cooking using gas or wood.
Electricity is limited to areas close to the warehouse, with a canopy provided for shelter from the rain.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
This project is ideal for volunteers interested in agriculture, permaculture, and outdoor activities, including hiking. Adaptability and a willingness to embrace rural living are essential characteristics for participants.
