This study visit offers a hands-on opportunity to discover how grassroots initiatives and local organizations in the Florence region foster active youth involvement.
Through field visits, collaborative sessions, and peer exchanges, participants will gain practical insights into inclusive youth work and participatory strategies.
Investing in personal and professional growth strengthens one’s capacity to lead and inspire.

By joining this program, the participant will:
Gain firsthand exposure to diverse models of youth and civic participation from both local and international contexts
Exchange ideas and experiences with fellow youth workers and educators in the fields of non-formal learning and community development
Explore actionable strategies to empower young people, promote inclusion, and support active citizenship at the local level
Build new connections and lay the groundwork for future Erasmus+ collaborations and youth-led initiatives
🗺️ Activities Overview
Throughout the week, the participant will engage in:
Meetings with associations and grassroots movements that champion youth engagement and civic action
Interactive workshops, field visits, and collaborative learning sessions
Exploration of how youth organizations create space for dialogue, advocacy, and social transformation

Lodging: Villa Morghen in Settignano, Florence
Rooms: Shared accommodation (2–3 people per room)
Meals: All meals are fully covered by the project

Covered expenses include:

Travel reimbursement according to Erasmus+ distance guidelines

Travel arrangements must be approved via email by the coordinator before booking
Travel costs are reimbursed via bank transfer to the participant’s sending organization
