Activity Description:
Cooperativa Sociale Madiba eagerly anticipates welcoming 2 new volunteers to participate in summer activities in the city of Beinasco (TO).
Madiba Società Cooperativa Sociale is dedicated to promoting, organizing, and developing socio-educational projects tailored for children, youth, and adults, focusing on social animation, education, training, and guidance through playful and non-formal educational methods.
Volunteers will join a group of youth workers involved in “Progetto giovani Beinasco Lab10092” activities within youth centers, as well as engage in active citizenship initiatives for urban and environmental redevelopment targeting youth aged 13 to 22.
Your responsibilities will include supporting youth workers during the opening of the youth aggregation center, facilitating structured activities such as workshops and role-playing games, and organizing recreational activities for children aged 11 to 18.
Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements:
The European Solidarity Corps Program provides food, accommodation, health insurance, and pocket money for volunteers. Accommodation will be provided in a house or apartment with single or double rooms, conveniently located near the association.
Training During the Activity:
Volunteers will undergo specific pre-departure and ongoing training activities to familiarize themselves with the project’s objectives, sociocultural context, and principles of non-formal education.
Participant Profile:
We are seeking motivated individuals willing to dedicate 2 months to collaborate with the Madiba team. Ideal candidates are open-minded, interested in exploring the project’s themes, and eager to actively engage and contribute to the initiatives while expressing their creativity freely.
