Training Program Overview
This training program aims to enhance the role of youth work in fostering resilient communities, reducing the impact of natural disasters on young people, and promoting Erasmus+/Youth projects that address challenges related to climate change.
Purpose
The program’s primary goal is to provide a space for reflection, exploration, and analysis of how youth work can play a crucial role in building disaster-resilient communities while empowering young people to take meaningful action.
Key Objectives
Increase awareness of climate change and its consequences for young people.
Equip youth workers with practical tools to aid communities during all phases of a disaster—before, during, and after.
Promote collaboration and Erasmus+/Youth initiatives to address disaster-related challenges effectively.
Enhance the capabilities of youth organizations in disaster preparedness and response efforts.
Language of the Program
The training will be conducted in international English. While fluency isn’t required, participants should have sufficient English proficiency to engage in discussions and follow presentations.
Accommodation Information Participants will typically stay in twin rooms to encourage collaboration and networking with fellow youth workers. However, if there is a specific need for a single room, accommodations can be arranged upon request.
