We seek enthusiastic young individuals passionate about promoting the European Idea to participate in events during the “Month of Europe” in Saxony Anhalt, coinciding with the upcoming European Parliament elections.
Activities include school visits, citizen dialogues, and project days, among others. Volunteers will primarily support these events.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD, AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS:
Volunteers will stay in shared rooms (typically accommodating four people) at the European Youth Educational Centre Magdeburg, with towels and sheets provided. Living arrangements may vary due to bookings by outside groups.
Volunteers will receive funds for group meal preparation (unless meals are provided) and 6€ pocket money per day. Travel expenses will be reimbursed based on fixed rates according to distance traveled, as per Erasmus+ regulations.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY:
Participants will undergo training on various event formats promoting the European Idea and participation in EU elections.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE:
We seek enthusiastic young individuals willing to collaborate in a diverse team of 15-20 members from various countries.
While prior experience with the mentioned tasks is appreciated, a willingness to learn and adapt is paramount.
Open-mindedness, flexibility, problem-solving skills, and teamwork abilities are desirable traits. Proficiency in English and German is advantageous.
