Description
This program provides young Europeans with a unique opportunity to gain practical experience through social work, cultural exchange, and personal development.
Activities include organizing events for seniors, assisting the mayor with community projects, and maintaining Abentheuer’s multi-generational space surrounded by the beauty of the Hunsrück-Hochwald. At Goloka Dhama e.V., volunteers will gain insights into managing a spiritual community, attend meetings, and engage in activities such as wood construction, gardening, and vegan/vegetarian cooking workshops.
Community meetings encourage engagement and skill-building, while afternoons with international host families offer enriching intercultural exchanges.
The program combines work with Quidong, music lessons, and excursions to historic sites like the Celtic Ring Wall, enhancing both environmental and cultural awareness.
Volunteers will also enjoy social activities such as table tennis tournaments, festivals, and feasts. Join this transformative experience!
Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements
Dormitories are separated by gender and house 8-10 beds each with shared shower/toilet facilities.
We offer our guests freshly prepared vegetarian and vegan meals three times a day, made with love. All necessary local trips can be done by bicycle or with our driver’s car.
A local bus to the shopping centers runs every 2 hours (10-minute ride). Upon arrival and departure, transportation to the train station or airport will be organized, and we will handle the tickets.
