Exciting Opportunity: European Youth Event 2025 Volunteer Program
This is a fantastic chance for 300 young individuals to join the European Youth Event (EYE) Volunteer Program 2025.
It’s a unique opportunity for youth from all over Europe to come together, share their vision for the continent, and contribute to a brighter, more inclusive future.
Volunteers are needed from June 11-14, 2025, to organize and support various event activities. All costs are covered by the European Parliament.

About EYE 2025 Volunteer Program
The European Youth Event 2025 will be held in and around the European Parliament in Strasbourg on June 13-14, 2025. However, volunteers will also be needed on June 11 and 12, as well as during the event itself on June 13-14.
Volunteers serve as the faces and representatives of the event, directly interacting with participants and stakeholders.
Their primary tasks include assisting and guiding participants within the European Parliament and EYE Village, providing directions, and answering questions from attendees and stakeholders.
Additionally, volunteers are expected to actively contribute to the implementation of the Sustainable Development policy, with a particular focus on waste management. Key roles and teams for volunteers include:
Entrance Support Team: Welcoming participants, managing entry points, and directing attendees to the appropriate areas.
Information Support Team: Assisting participants by answering questions, providing directions, and sharing event details.
Operations Support Team: Working behind the scenes to ensure smooth event logistics, supporting various teams, and ensuring all aspects of the event run seamlessly.
Floaters: Providing flexibility by stepping in where needed, responding to team requests, and assisting during busy periods to support various teams and tasks. Additionally, floaters will promote sustainability by maintaining a clean and safe environment, encouraging eco-friendly practices, and overseeing the animation of a sustainability-focused stand.
IMPORTANT: Volunteers may be required to stand for extended periods. If this is challenging for you, please inform the organizers so they can assign a more suitable role. Non-standing roles are limited, so it may not be possible to accommodate all requests.
IMPORTANT: Each volunteer must be able to contribute at least 12 hours of volunteering in total during the two event days and the two setup days (June 11, 12, 13, and 14). The maximum volunteering time is 8 hours per day.
Expenses and Benefits
The European Parliament provides travel and accommodation support for selected volunteers under specific conditions outlined below:
International volunteers will be hosted by Strasbourg-based volunteers. If home accommodation is unavailable or not preferred, volunteers may be placed in shared hotel rooms (2 volunteers per room) in Strasbourg city center.
Volunteers are responsible for any additional services or costs incurred during their stay, such as meals, room service, or other personal expenses. Lunch will be provided for volunteers on active duty during the event.
Volunteers will receive EYE2025 T-shirts, which must be worn whenever they are actively volunteering.
A 3-day Strasbourg transport city pass will be available upon request to cover transportation during the event.
Travel reimbursements will be provided only after confirming the volunteer’s presence during the event, according to the following limits:
- Zone 0 (Strasbourg Eurometropole & City of Kehl): Zero
- Zone 1A (Alsatian European Community, excluding Zone 0): €25
- Zone 1B (Less than 150 km from Strasbourg, excluding Zone 1A): €50
- Zone 2 (150 km to 700 km from Strasbourg): €100
- Zone 3 (More than 700 km from Strasbourg): €250
