Sustainable development, particularly permaculture, is a foundational value of our association and is reflected in all our initiatives.
For years, Maison des Bateleurs-Solidarités Jeunesses has been dedicated to creating an environmental hub: plant protection basins, dry toilets, composting systems, an organic garden, and the utilization of local natural resources are just a few examples of our efforts.
Training During the Activity
In this workcamp, you will be actively involved in the daily life at the Maison and its various activities, including communal living and intercultural exchanges.
The primary goal of this workcamp is to enhance your understanding of sustainable development through intergenerational interactions and knowledge sharing.
Tasks will mainly involve maintaining the Maison’s vegetable garden (planting, transplanting, hoeing, watering, harvesting, processing) and preparing the soil for spring planting.
You will also assist in maintaining compost bins, the plant protection basin, the henhouse, the insect hotel, and bat nests.
Participant Profile: Looking for participants aged between 18 and 30 years. No other requirements are necessary.
