ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Join this volunteer team and be part of the European Youth Week 2024, taking place from April 12th to April 19th.
This week-long event involves various local organizations and offers volunteers the opportunity to participate in a range of local activities.
The European Youth Week aims to encourage youth engagement, participation, and active citizenship. As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to share your views and contribute to topics that matter to you.
Tasks include visiting schools to discuss EU youth programs, hosting workshops on topics such as diversity & inclusion, arts, sustainability, and democracy, and engaging in discussions with international volunteers and local youth on pressing issues affecting young people across Europe.
Additionally, there will be some environmental-related tasks.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD, AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
Volunteers will stay in shared rooms at the student dormitory, with all meals provided. Various creative and recreational activities will be available, including access to sauna and swimming facilities.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
This project welcomes individuals who are creative and proactive in developing their own workshops and projects.
As the project is located in rural Finland, volunteers should enjoy outdoor activities and a peaceful environment.
Supported by the European Solidarity Corps, the project is open to citizens and permanent residents of EU countries and Ukraine aged between 18 and 30.
