Description
Looking volunteers to join international team in Náchod will assist with non-formal educational activities at our leisure center, focusing particularly on summer camps.
You will interact daily with children aged 3-13 years and work closely with the camp’s main pedagogue, who will involve you in all preparations. This experience will provide you with valuable skills and allow you to explore a new country and culture.
Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements
Your travel expenses for the project, including the return journey, will be reimbursed. Accommodation costs are fully covered by the project.
Additionally, you will receive a monthly allowance for groceries, pocket money, and local transportation. You will live in a shared apartment with your own room, fully equipped with all necessary amenities.
The apartment is conveniently located near the organization’s headquarters, eliminating the need for daily commuting. Náchod is a small town but offers various amenities, including shops, sports facilities, a cinema, cafés, restaurants, and bars.
Training During the Activity
You will participate in an On-arrival training organized by the National Agency. Another training session includes a 3-day team-building meeting at the organization’s camp base, where all volunteering details will be explained.
Throughout your volunteering period, a coordinator and a pedagogue will guide you and provide support, especially at the beginning. If you need assistance in preparing activities, we will be there to help you.
Participant Profile
Looking for open-minded, responsible, and flexible individuals who are interested in pedagogy and enjoy working with children. Candidates should be between 18 and 30 years old.
Understanding the concept of VOLUNTEERING is crucial, and we want to ensure that you do not view the project solely for personal benefit. No special qualifications are required for this project as all necessary training will be provided. Basic English skills are beneficial for easier communication.
