ESC Project - Short Term
Czech Republic , Děčín : 17 Days Volunteering Project in Summer

Czech Republic , Děčín : 17 Days Volunteering Project in Summer

Description:

This project offers young people a chance to demonstrate their solidarity by collaborating with a small association dedicated to sustainability in a village household and garden, contributing to the creation of a lively village community.

The project aims to create a space for crafting wooden objects, enabling larger projects such as making shelves and organizing them.

Participants will engage in various tasks, including garden maintenance, mowing, compost distribution, and upkeep of the rainwater reservoir. This initiative is directly linked to addressing climate change issues.

Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements:

Accommodation is provided in the same building as our NGO at Merbolitce 95.

Participants will sleep together in a common room, but those who prefer can opt to sleep in tents in the orchard or in cozy corners around the farm.

Meals will be prepared together in our kitchen, with all food being organic and strictly vegetarian/vegan.

Participants will also have the opportunity to visit local shops using our bicycles. Our village can be easily reached from Prague by trains and buses, taking around two hours.

Training During the Activity:

All activities conducted by our NGO and implemented in this project in cooperation with participants are based on fundamental sustainability principles.

We will share joyful activities and responsibilities for caring for essential resources such as water and soil. Practical tasks will include wood processing, garden planting, and activities that promote mindfulness and physical well-being.

Participant Profile:

Looking for open-minded young individuals aged 18-30 who are eager to engage in hands-on experiences that drive change. A basic level of English is required.

Ideally, there will be two participants from each country, forming a team of 12 members in total.

Activity dates From 16/07/2025 to 03/08/2025
