Project Description
This project offers an incredible opportunity for volunteers to work with diverse communities in the quaint village of Latinovac, Croatia.
Hosted by the NGO Integracoruna, participants will engage in activities promoting social integration and intercultural dialogue among immigrants, refugees, and vulnerable groups.
Volunteers will assist in educational and recreational activities for children, language workshops for immigrants, and community-building events.
Additionally, they will collaborate with local institutions on initiatives addressing social challenges, such as inclusion programs and employability workshops.
Volunteers will be involved in planning and executing these activities, providing daily support to the NGO’s operations, and participating in community outreach efforts.
This experience provides a valuable opportunity to engage in meaningful work that fosters inclusion and supports the social needs of vulnerable populations.
Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements
Participants will stay with local hosts in the village, sharing rooms, toilets, and showers. Some volunteers will also be accommodated at the Eko centar Latinovac property.
During working days, a chef will prepare three vegetarian meals for the group. On free days, participants will receive a daily allowance of 7€ for food and have access to a shared kitchen.
Transport costs will be reimbursed upon arrival, up to a certain limit, based on the distance traveled. Details will be discussed before arrival.
Training During the Activity
Participants can expect daily supervision for all activities. For more complex tasks, they will receive theoretical and practical training and management.
Throughout the project, participants will have mentor support through group and individual meetings. Participants are encouraged to share their skills and expertise.
