The volunteer’s role is to support the head chef in preparing healthy and tasty meals for campers and the volunteer team.
This includes planning ingredients, cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and ensuring that the kitchen and shared spaces remain clean, safe, and welcoming.
Responsibilities also involve tidying up after meals, keeping order, and helping set the atmosphere for the next camp activity.
Looking for:
Someone who enjoys working in the kitchen, feels comfortable with large-scale cooking, and loves seeing happy faces after a good meal.
A person with an eye for detail, who values cleanliness and believes that a well-kept environment is the foundation of a great camp experience.
🏡 Accommodation, Food & Travel
Volunteers will stay in rooms of 3–4 people in a pleasant rural setting.
Meals: 6 per day; volunteers may cook in the school kitchen or meals will be provided by the team.
Pocket money: €5 per day (total €250 for two months).
Travel costs: Covered according to the official distance calculator.
🎓 Training
Before the activity begins, volunteers will receive two days of training focusing on teamwork, responsibilities, and the camp’s structure.
