The doors are officially open for applications to join the largest volunteer initiative ever launched by FIFA.
With a goal of mobilizing around 65,000 volunteers, this programme offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to contribute to the biggest FIFA World Cup™ ever staged.
Set to unfold across 16 host cities in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, the 2026 tournament will feature 48 national teams competing over six weeks.
Volunteers will be at the heart of this global celebration, helping shape unforgettable experiences for fans, players, and communities alike.
FIFA has confirmed that these volunteers will become the foundation of its ever-growing Volunteer Community, which now includes over one million members worldwide.
Their collective passion and dedication will be key to delivering a seamless and inspiring event.

✅ Eligibility Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older at the time of application
- Must meet the legal requirements to volunteer in the host country
- Proficiency in English is required
- Spanish is preferred in Mexico; French is an asset in Canada
- Additional language skills are welcomed
- No prior volunteer experience is necessary
FIFA will provide full training. Selected applicants will first attend Volunteer Team Tryouts starting in October 2025, followed by official training in March 2026—just ahead of the tournament’s opening match in Mexico City on 11 June 2026.
