The purpose of the project is to explore intersectionality and create more inclusive and accessible spaces for ourselves and others.
Objectives:
Increase awareness and knowledge about the concept of intersectionality.
Reflect on our personal backgrounds and identities.
Gain a better understanding of what we need for individual inclusion.
Develop tools to foster empathy and understanding in our daily lives and work.
Apply these tools in our work and interactions with groups to create more balanced (safe, brave, inclusive, accessible) spaces.
Methodology:
The training course is built on the principles of non-formal education.
It aims to provide a safe and creative learning environment focusing on identity (such as gender, ability, health).
The program is experiential and follows a holistic approach.
In this framework, we will use various artistic methods to encourage creative expression and emotional exploration and use introspection to reflect on personal experiences, beliefs, and emotions.
Program Flow:
1.Day: Getting to know each other.
2.Days: Understanding the concept of intersectionality and our personal identities and needs.
3.Days: Exploring how to use this knowledge to create more balanced (safe, brave, inclusive, accessible) learning spaces.
4.Days: Setting goals for transferring accessibility and inclusivity competencies into daily life and work.
This project is funded by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs.
