Activity Overview:
Join at the Permaculture Park Steyerberg in Germany for our summer camp focused on “Water Management”!
This is a call to young adults across Europe who are passionate about permaculture, sustainable agriculture, and environmental stewardship.
Over a two-week period this summer, you’ll have the opportunity to camp within the verdant grounds of the Permaculture Park Steyerberg, where you’ll gain both theoretical and practical knowledge about water management.
Engage with up to 15 international volunteers and become part of the neighboring Ecovillage community.
Participate in an enriching intercultural journey, assist in the construction of water collection systems for greenhouses and gardens, and explore local culture through museum visits and city tours.
Accommodations, Meals, and Travel:
The summer camp is hosted on the expansive grounds of the Permaculture Park Steyerberg, providing individual cabins for each participant within communal tents.
Meals will be a collaborative effort in our outdoor kitchen, guided by educational leaders. While participants are responsible for organizing their travel, support will be available from the project leader and partner organizations.
The ESC program generously covers all expenses related to travel, insurance, visas, accommodation, and food.
Training Provided:
Throughout the camp, you’ll receive mentorship from a professional water management engineer and the seasoned gardeners of Permaculture Park Steyerberg. Educational leaders will also be on hand to offer comprehensive support for all other needs during your stay.
Ideal Participant:
Looking for individuals aged 18 to 30 who are eager to work and camp outdoors, are motivated by intercultural interactions, and possess basic English language skills.
Camp Dates: The camp will run from August 26, 2024, to September 9, 2024
