Young people who believe in the power of creativity to inspire positive social change will have the chance to join an international volunteering team through a 4-week European Solidarity Corps (ESC) project in Poznań, Poland. The programme encourages participants to use creative expression to promote equality, strengthen community engagement, and foster intercultural dialogue.
Throughout the project, volunteers will work closely with local organizations, contribute to community-based initiatives, and help create inclusive spaces where creativity becomes a bridge between people from different backgrounds.
Volunteers Will Co-Create Community-Based Activities
Rather than following a fixed schedule, participants will actively shape the programme alongside the hosting team. Volunteers will be encouraged to contribute their own ideas, skills, and interests while collaborating on a variety of creative and educational initiatives.
Project activities may include:
- Designing and facilitating creative workshops
- Organizing public awareness campaigns and community events
- Producing social media content promoting equality and inclusion
- Supporting initiatives that encourage dialogue, solidarity, and active participation
- Collaborating with organizations that work with women and vulnerable groups
- Creating welcoming environments where artistic expression supports empowerment and social connection
This participant-driven approach allows every volunteer to leave a personal mark on the project while developing valuable international experience.
Accommodation, Meals and Local Transport
Participants will stay in a fully equipped student residence in Poznań, sharing rooms with two or three other volunteers.
Within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps, volunteers will receive:
- Fully arranged shared accommodation
- Monthly food allowance
- Monthly pocket money
- Local public transportation card valid throughout the project
- Practical support from the hosting organization during the entire volunteering period
These arrangements allow participants to focus entirely on learning, collaboration, and cultural exchange.
Learning Through Practical Experience
The educational process is designed around experiential learning rather than traditional classroom training.
During the project, volunteers will receive continuous mentoring from the project coordinator and local support team. Learning will take place through practical tasks, teamwork, regular reflection sessions, and constructive feedback.
To broaden their understanding of the project’s social themes, participants will also visit organizations that work directly with women and community development initiatives. These study visits will offer opportunities to:
- Learn from experienced professionals
- Exchange ideas and experiences
- Explore different approaches to creating safe and inclusive environments
- Gain insight into community-based social initiatives

Professional artistic experience is not required.

An International ESC Experience Focused on Creativity and Inclusion
